The designers said it took them 11 hours to make the traditional marks 'pretty,' no doubt offending the ancient tribes. She showed off the new work during her Puerto Rico concert on Monday.

                                          Men protesters on Wednesday stormed the Lagos Office of the Independent Corrupt Practice and Other Related Offences Commission, requesting that the embattled Minister of Aviation, Ms Stella Oduah, be tried and jailed if found guilty, while a  small group of women this morning gathered at the Federal Secretariat in Abuja, in support of Ms Stella Oduah. The women carried placards which read 'a fight against Stella Oduah is a fight against women' . Whose side are you on???  

             As Kanye West statements go, it's probably one of his most absurd.  The lovestruck rapper talked up fiancee Kim Kardashian in a new interview in which he claimed the reality star is more influential in terms of style than the First Lady Of The United States Michelle Obama. He told Ryan Seacrest: 'There's no way Kim Kardashian shouldn't be on the cover of Vogue.  'She's like the most intriguing woman right now. She's got Barbara Walters calling her like everyday,' he said. And bizarrely he claimed the reason Kim was more influential that Michelle Obama, was because the First Lady could not share a bikini pic like Kim's recent bottom-baring pose in a white swimsuit. 'No one is looking at what [Barack Obama] is wearing. Michelle Obama cannot Instagram a [bikini] pic like what my girl Instagrammed the other day.'

                  Katy Perry appeared to hit a bum note while performing for fans on Tuesday morning.                She never fails to disappoint when it comes to stepping out in the most outrageous get up and lately she's on a role.                                  The police in Lagos State have commenced investigation into how a nine-year-old girl died, after sustaining injuries caused by alleged consistent rape. According to police authorities, the deceased was raped over five times, by a 14-year-old student, Onyi Adimabua, in the Ikorodu area of the state.

          Former Lagos State Governor Ahmed Bola Tinubu's first  daughter , Folashade Tinubu Ojo was installed as the new Iyaloja of Lagos and the President General of the Market Men and Women of Nigeria on  October 29th , taking over from her late grandmother, Habibat Mogaji, who died in June this year. The installation took place at the palace of the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu 1. Before her new appointment, Folashade was the Deputy President General of the Market Men and Women.

Five Premier League stars and Gareth Bale, who moved from Spurs to Real Madrid in the summer, are among the contenders for FIFA's Ballon d'Or award. The 23-man shortlist for the prestigious world player of the year award was announced early on Tuesday morning, with the winner to be unveiled on January 13 in Zurich.

    Chris Brown has had his assault charge reduced from a felony to a misdemeanour. The singer was arrested outside a five star hotel in Washington, D.C. on Sunday morning after he allegedly punched a man and broke his nose. According to  TMZ  Brown pleaded not guilty and was released from custody without bail, and he was pictured smiling as he left court on Monday. The website also reports that the 24-year-old has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from the alleged victim. While it is not yet clear why Brown’s charge was reduced, TMZ reports it may be because the injuries were minor. The victim apparently claims Brown broke his nose but according to the publication, the police have stated that the man was treated for a fractured nasal bone. The original police report allegedly stated that it was Brown’s bodyguard who threw the punch, but the bodyguard's charge has also been reduced to a misdemeanour.

                            The House of Representatives and the Minister of Aviation, Princess Stella Oduah are now heading for a showdown over the summons of the House Committee on Aviation requesting the minister to appear before it tomorrow as it commences investigative into an alleged purchase of N255 million bullet proof cars for the Minister by the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA. While the minister, who is still in Israel told the committee that she would not be available until November 4 after she must have concluded her national assignment in Israel, the committee insisted that if she fails to appear tomorrow sanctions will be imposed on her. The House Committee on Aviation, in a statement by its Clerk, Abubakar Chana directed the minister to appear before it tomorrow and explain her role in the controversial armoured cars.

       Chris Brown has been arrested after allegedly attacking a man in the early hours of Sunday morning.  The alleged incident took place in Washington, D.C. and resulted in the 24-year-old singer being arrested for felony assault. The charge could carry a four-year prison sentence for the R'n'B star as he's still on parole for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.  Brown and his bodyguard were both arrested after the former allegedly 'punched a man in the face' outside a D.C. hotel. According to  TMZ 's law enforcement sources, the singer got into a row with a man outside the W Hotel before throwing the alleged punches.  Rihanna's ex-boyfriend did not appear to be under the influence of either drugs or alcohol, the website maintains.  The altercation took place at around 4:30 in the morning. When quizzed about her past, the obviously emotional British supermodel explained to the TV host:  'Anger is an emotion. There were things I had to deal with. You have to deal with it.' Then the 43-year-old weepily tells Jonathan; 'I'm crying, you made me cry!' Famous for her rages, Naomi was accused of committing violence against employees and associates between 1998 and 2008. In 2006 she famously threw a cell phone at a housekeeper that landed her in a New York court the following year charged with assault, to which she pleaded guilty. 

   Chelsea Clair and Kyle Froelich of Brownsburg, Indiana got married in an outdoor ceremony, pictured left and right. They may have just recently exchange vows, but three years ago they exchanged something more important - an organ. Kyle had a disease that caused his kidneys to stop functioning and he was desperate for a donor, but struggled to find a match with his friends and family. In September 2009, he met 22-year-old Chelsea Clair at a car show and after one day, she offered to give Kyle one of her kidneys. After getting tested it turned out the two were a near perfect match, and six months later they both underwent a successful surgery. Some members of  the late Ikemba Nnewi, Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu’s family have alleged that the widow of the deceased, Bianca, is greedy by laying claim to some assets of her late husband. In a 19-paragraph statement of defence filed before a Lagos High Court, Igbosere, the Ojukwu Transport Limited and seven family members challenged Bianca to prove her claims in the suit which she instituted on behalf of her two underage sons. The two sons – Afamefuna and Nwachukwu – are the claimants on record in the suit numbered, LD/1539/2012.

A model is accused of stabbing her boyfriend several times after his dog ate her stash of marijuana, it emerged today.  Shadae Scott, 26, a model from South Florida, was arrested on Sunday night for the attack on her boyfriend Kevin Wiggins, who suffered two small knife cuts to the face and head and one across his hand. But when questioned by police, Scott said her boyfriend kept walking in to the pink pocket knife when they had a row over dinner plans, according to the arrest report.
