He's finishing off his run as host of NBC's Tonight Show and she's one of the world's biggest button-pressing, not to mention tongue-waggling pop stars of our era. It was a match made in pop culture heaven.

So when Miley Cyrus appeared on Jay Leno's show on Thursday the talk show host couldn't resist the chance to up his cool factor in double denim, pulling on a pair of blue jeans and light blue denim cowboy shirt just like style icon Miley.

Miley tweeted the pic with the message: 'Jay Leno swag ❤️❤️❤️watch me tonight talk about #bangerztour'. The only thing missing was any tongue wagging action for once.
