President Bola Tinubu says Nigeria’s refineries cannot be considered successful just because they are operating or producing smoke. They must also be profitable and provide real value to Nigerians.



He said his government is restructuring the economy and working to ensure the refineries function properly.

Tinubu also said he accepts responsibility for fixing the problems inherited from previous governments, rather than blaming his predecessors.
