Chaz Bono has never looked thinner or happier, and perhaps his new female friend has something to do with the latter.

The 44-year-old transgender son of Sonny and Cher had a lightness to his step as he hit up his local Farmer's Market in Beverly Hills on Sunday.

With him was a blonde short-haired mystery woman, who appeared to be keeping him in a good mood as they left the outdoor mart.
