Jada Pinkett Smith is thankful to spend holidays with husband Will Smith and children

The Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted actress, who has two children, Jaden, 15, and Willow, 13, with her husband of 16 years, admitted she felt particularly lucky to be spending the holidays with them after one of Will's good friends died suddenly on Christmas Eve.
The 42-year-old star wrote on Facebook on Tuesday: 'My husband lost a friend today. It hit me how often I forget that nothing lasts forever, especially life. Today, I am blessed to be surrounded by the love of my family and friends, and I have been reminded not to take that for granted.'
The couple, pictured here at the Free Angela and All Political Prisoners premiere in New York City in April, have been plagued by separation rumours since earlier this year
Will and Jada, pictured here with Willow and Jaden at the Toronto International Film Festival in Sep. 2012, have not publicly addressed the rumours
