Myleene Klass makes an appearance at the Hennessy Gold Cup on Saturday afternoon

The day may well have been devoted to racing, but for spectators at the Hennessy Gold Cup the biggest winner was Myleene Klass.

Indeed, the TV personality looked stunning in a sleeveless ensemble with an intricate monochrome design as she posed for photos shortly after arriving at the annual event on Saturday afternoon.

Myleene accompanied her stylish knee-length dress with a pair of conventional black heels, while a simple neck chain served as the only trace of jewellery in what amounted to an elegant look.

The former Hear’Say singer appeared to be in high spirits as she made her way to Newbury Racecourse in a faux-fur jacket that complimented her neutral attire.

As always Myleene greeted waiting photographers with a warm smile before making her way into the venue to rub shoulders with her fellow guests at a pre-race soiree – amongst them rapper Tinie Tempah.

The Londoner looked typically dapper in a crisp white shirt and bow tie as he made his way onto the course with former Olympian Denise Lewis.

Tinie matched his immaculate upper half with a pair of skinny trousers and dress shoes, but boldly attempted to leave his socks at home – despite the chilly temperatures.

Other stars to feature prominently at the event included Joan Collins and Amanda Holden, who sported a blue trilby and grey winter coat with black leather arms.

Her ensemble was completed with a pair of fitted jeans and knee length boots, while black leather gloves added to a sobering yet stylish outfit

Perhaps more familiar with the climes of southern France than southern England, Joan had wisely opted to wrap up in a thick fur coat and matching hat.

Soprano Natalie Coyle also put on a show in a semi-sheer dress for her day at the races, accompanying it with thick black tights and shoes.

Held between November and December each year, the Hennessey Gold Cup – established in 1957 – sees competing jockeys race over a distance of three miles and two and a half furlongs.

Hennessey’s association with the race marks the longest standing sponsorship in the history of British racing.
