Rhema showcases talents to encourage youths

It was the grand-finale of the competition. The atmosphere was electric. The auditorium was packed full, with many ecstatic youths, some of whom were dressed in rainbow costumes. There was comedy, mimes, dance,  and music.

As at the last minute, it was not certain which of the competing groups that had made it to the finals would win the ultimate prize. One of the teams took the audience and judges by surprise when, in a bid to impress, smashed a piece of block on the head of one of its members during a weird performance. They were almost disqualified for going overboard.
These were some of the scenes at the finals of a talent-hunt competition organised by the  Rhema Chapel Chapel International Churches, Yaba, Lagos, in the belief that Nigerian youths have great potentials that should be promoted and re-directed for God’s glory.
The General Overseer, Pastor Caleb Ayinla, said the church launched the competition to help the young ones discover themselves and use their talents profitably.
